Musical Information Night

Friday 2 February, 6pm, Drawing Room

Parents and caregivers are invited to attend the Musical Information Night with their children. You will meet the production team and find out details about the processes and expectations for students who audition for the musical. You will have the opportunity to have questions answered. Who should attend?

Come along if you are interested and would like to find out more about what being in the musical involves. There are no obligations to audition after attending the workshop. 

You must attend the 2018 Musical Workshop if you are intending on auditioning for any "on-stage" role in Legally Blonde. After the workshop there will be an information session that you should attend with your parents.

What is it?

Get an overview about this year's musical, why it has been chosen and meet the production team. You will then be divided into groups to rotate through three different activities.

1) Singing - Learn the required song for an ensemble role audition. Overview of principal roles' audition songs.

2) Dialogue & Characterisation - Overview of principal roles and audition scenes.

3) Dance & Movement - Learn the steps for a short routine. Groups will be divided on student, self-assessed skill level. This activity will be filmed for reference purposes.

Friday Week 1, 2nd February, 3:45pm to 6:00pm

Where is it?

Meet in the Old Con.

What do I wear?

Comfortable clothing that is appropriate for movement. PE uniform would be appropriate. Dance specific wear must adhere to the dance uniform policy.
